I'm excited to announce a very special show with a superstar singer from Mali, West Africa, Djeneba Seck! She will be collaborating with Barika for one performance only at The Signal Kitchen in Burlington, Vermont on March 9th. I have always wanted to hear a great West African singer with this band so I'm really looking forward to it. Check her out on youtube, she is a really beautiful singer. I've been playing recently with Barika, The Chad Hollister Band, The Gordon Stone Band, The Chris Peterman Sextet, The Patricia Julien Project, The Andric Severence X-Tet and more. Please check out the gigs page for all the details about upcoming shows. Also, I've been spending a bunch of time in recording studios, please keep your eyes out for Barika's second studio album, a live CD from Prydein and Audrey Bernstein's soon-to-be-released record of beautiful vocal jazz featuring Dan Skea, Ray Vega, John Rivers, Joe Capps and myself.
